Mike Rump

In the Claims Business since 1982, Mike Rump has dedicated his professional life to becoming one of the leading consumer advocates for the policyholder in property insurance claims. Mike is a leading expert in claims and one in whom professionals and property owners can fully place their trust.

Mr. Rump began his Career with Allstate Insurance in 1982 while he lived in Texas. He worked his way to becoming a Multiline Property Adjuster & was Awarded Top Adjuster Designations. As a company employee, Mr. Rump strived to ensure that policyholders claims were properly settled.

While working as an Independent Adjuster with Lindsey/Newsome, he transferred to Florida in 1993 where he settled hundreds of Hurricane Andrew disaster Claims and was also their lead arson investigator. It became very obvious to Mike that policyholders needed qualified representation. Mike earned the General Adjuster Designation and went on to obtain his Public Adjusters License.

In 1996, Mike founded Continental Public Adjusters, where he has helped thousands of consumers, businesses, as well as condo and homeowners associations, navigate the daunting property claims process. Mike developed an in-depth knowledge of the claims process and is regarded as extremely knowledgeable, a true professional and a fierce negotiator. Mike served as President of The Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and served as Chairman of the FAPIA Ethics Committee. Mike was deeply involved in lobbying on behalf of the Public Adjusting Industry during his eight year term on the FAPIA board.
